Our league was founded on a suggestion by serveral team members of the Arizona Community Church softball team.  We enjoyed playing in other church leagues, but wanted one close to our church, that had the same competitive spirit and fellowship.  In the spring of 2004,  Arizona Community Church, Chandler 1st Assemble, Tempe Nazarene, Tri-City Baptist, Gethsemane Lutheran, 1st Baptist Church of Tempe and King of Glory formed the 1st league.

To fellowship with one another in a christian manner, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and have fun while playing recreational/competitive softball.  Also, to outreach and minister to others in Arizona and glorify Christ in all our actions.
